This track starts the second CD in this two CD project. Yes...Wooly Bully. THAT Wooly Bully. I have long been a fan of Steely Dan and although that was not my driving force behind this tune, what resulted certainly pays respect to Fagen Becker and perhaps most of all, the amazing engineer Elliot Scheiner that has long been an influence on my approach to recording and mixing. A nod as well to the many, many guitarists that have graced SD's recordings. And then, out of nowhere, we go into a completely blues rooted swing section for solos! Matthew didn't think it could possibly fit. He was wary...until we heard it in the control room and all LOVED it! A very different Bully...
