Monique was written by my brother, Mike Petit. He's a phenomenal writer but is (as yet) unreleased. Mike stopped playing out some years back - a great loss, I feel; he plays all keyboard instruments frighteningly well. On this album, Monique is my arrangement. I tried to create a deep, hypnotic vibe with a steady groove. Many guitar overdubs and rhythmic parts (listen closely!)...lovely solo by Justin on this as well. Great piece of music...total vibe. :)
