I wrote this tune for Carlos Vega..a fantastic drummer that played in such a great pocket...simple and solid. He passed some ten or so years back...Carlos is missed by many. The tune is certainly out of a Steely Dan bag...hope you like it...I did the horn arrangement as well, which I love. OH, and my bass part is a nod to Gordon Edwards of Stuff...
